Monitor for success
If a person is in recovery (or after the intervention), they still are vulnerable to a relapse so you can monitor them and become their recovery coach. Through the monitoring program, you can download today and help someone in the military with long-term support and receive payment for your service. Possibly the military could pay for your service as well.
Here's how it works:
1. Download the product
Go to the Shop area on the menu bar and purchase the Navigation Guide. After you download the product, print it up or read the instructions on your computer (or smart devices) and start working on the intervention process by following the Intervention plan.
2. The intervention TEAM
Connect with two or three others that know the colleague who is struggling with substance use. Follow the plan in the download on how to prep everyone on the intervention team. Go to the CO and see who can pay for your service if you cannot reach out to the family at this time. Otherwise, reach out to the family and inform them what is going on and see if they can pay for you to do the intervention (and monitoring after the person receives professional help.
3. The Intervention
Do the intervention sooner than later. It is important that you realize that you may be saving someone's career, lowering the risk of the department, and possibly saving a life. Doing an early intervention is key to helping someone receive the care that they need. Once they recover, they can pay you for your service.
4. Accountability with monitoring
When a person completes a treatment program (or assessment), it is essential that the person be monitored through a program to help the person new to the life of recovery. The monitoring program is something that you can do yourself through our self-guided program. Those who are monitored have a better chance for life-long recovery. You can be paid for monitoring and can work it out with the person in need.
5. Take action
One of the biggest things to do in life is to Take Action. In regard to a friend or colleague who is struggling with the disease of addiction, sometimes they are waiting to see if anyone will say anything about their drinking. Take action and save a life!
